You are bound to bump into one of these friendly faces when you visit us. Emmanuel Christian Ministries is a closely knit community, always eager to welcome new members with a smile, make them feel welcome and have great fellowship after the service.
Mohit
Pas. Mohit is Emmanuel Christian Ministries’ main minister and preacher. Having started as a computer network administrator, he left behind a successful career as an engineer to answer his calling to be a minister of Christ in 2014. He is fluent in English, Malayalam and Tamil and lives in Glasgow with his wife Sis. Ann and their three children.
Debbie
Known to never be short of a good conversation, Sis. Debbie organises the church’s various events and outreach, looks after the Church’s finances as well as assists the preacher with Tamil translations. Sis. Debbie is of Indian and Malaysian heritage and is fluent in Tamil, English and Malay. She is your de facto go-to person with anything church related.
Meenu
Sis. Meenu is a popular member of the congregation and an experienced physiotherapist by profession. She’s actively involved in the Church’s ministry and also often leads the worship, translates for the preacher and plays the piano to near maestro levels. When she isn’t being a legend of conversation with someone during fellowship, you will find her quietly serving out snacks and goodies to her fellow members. She is fluent in English, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Boben
Br. Boben is never known to not wear his famous smile. A well known and much loved member, he leads the worship often and helps organise the ministry’s various efforts and outreach. When he isn’t at the very front of the Church with the mic, he is at the very back welcoming newcomers with his smile, warmth and legendary bear hug. He is fluent in English, Malayalam and Hindi.
